No Yankees allowed on my team. What would your dream line-up look like for the 2008 season? I didn't include bullpen (aside from closer) or bench players, but feel free to do so with yours.

Derek Lee over Albert Pujols?
Really?
You got everything else more or less right, though I'd have Danny Haren instead of Zambrano because you just can't trust Z to be consistent.
I really like Haren and had him in there, originally. I took him out for a lefty--Bedard. I chose Lee over Pujols for two reasons: 1. Defense 2. Tommy John.
CF-Sizemore
2B-Utley
3B-A-Rod
1B-Pujols
RF-Holliday
LF-Crawford
SS-Rollins
C-Mauer
P-Santana
2.Peavy
3.Sabathia
4.Webb
5.Beckett

Couldn't stay away from A-Rod.
Pujols is no slouch at first base (he won a gold glove, and two years running on the fielding bible awards). Lee's good defensively too, but he's equal to Albert in that regard.
Also, he's had the elbow problem since he was playing left field so I'm not too worried...and once he gets it fixed, can you imagine what he's capable of with two good arms? Also didn't Lee lose a lot of power last year? He had the average, but so what, Eckstein hit over 300 last year, you know?
So, the team I'd build:
CF Curtis Granderson
RF Ichiro
1B Albert Pujols
3B Alex Rodriguez
LF Matt Holliday
2B Chase Utley
C Joe Mauer
P Johan Santana
SS Jose Reyes
P Felix Hernandez
P Dan Haren
P Justin Verlander
P Scott Kazmir
CL Jonathan Papelbon
Okay, if picking Ichrio for RF is not allowed, then gimme Alex Rios out there. And, yeah, I'm batting the pitcher 8th because it's a good idea...but if I'm getting DH then gimme Miguel Cabrera for that job.
