Big Z!

It's about time.  Zambrano throws his first no-hitter, and the Cubs expand their lead in the Central.  This makes up for the Bears loss and the Dodgers wasting a great effort by Maddux.

Congratulations! That was pretty cool, especially since he hadn't pitched in a while. I must say I was a bit annoyed, though, cause they interrupted the Sox game on ESPN to show bonus post game coverage of Zambrano's no-hitter, couldn't they have just flashed the message on the side or bottom of the screen and waited till the game was over. I didn't have cable last year, but I'm willing to bet when Buerhle threw his no-hitter they didn't interrupt another game to show post-game coverage of the Sox. PS- When are you going to Arizona? Lisa and I have decided to go for Spring Training/Spring Break- maybe we could all go to a game together if we're there at the same time!

I'm late to the party.
The best part about that no hitter (and the near no hitter the next night): It was in Milwaukee...against the Astros. A double Fuck You.

If only the twins would step it up when it mattered. Sigh.
